The best weekend of my entire life was the last one I spent with Matthew. Four days over Valentine's Day with 8 or so fabulous AWA folks in Ashland, Oregon at Bubbles and Katia's place. We feasted, skied hard, danced in cages and on catwalks, owned local pool tables, wrestled with the sailor, jackrabbitted each other and darn near broke our stomach muscles laughing for days on end. We slept in puppy piles on the living room floor and woke to more laughter and love. I don't think I'll ever have a Valentine that can provide all that LIFE and LOVE in one weekend. It was the epitome of what Matthew represents to me: pure love and laughter. This is what I want to attempt to re-create next summer with a gathering in good ole C.L. Solstice work? love, cookie |
